Deal Poem by Ashvini Swamy

Deal

willingly did I fall from grace
for the house of my heart was crumbling
and made a deal with the devil
before these walls caved in
he blessed me with a splendid curse-
a heartfull of love
to be bitterly refuted
so I quench my thirst with tears
long maybe this wait through
the parched years...
