Daylight Moon Poem by Sonny Rainshine

Daylight Moon

In the blue cereal bowl
of the 8: 00 AM sky:
a crescent moon floats

ghostly, watered down milk,
an omen or mere astonomy.

Something to take along to work,
with my granola bars

and my confections of
worries and other wonders.
