Daylight Demons Poem by Plague Rose

Daylight Demons

I take a single step into the outside world
City life like a blessing in disguise
Yet all I see are daylight demons
Sinners walking free
Killing stealing sinning
In the wrath of jubilee
The demons around me
Do their best to knock me down
With their arsenal of magic spells
That leave me broken on the ground
All I want and all I need
Is a single moment of the world pain free
But not to stoop so low as to alchemy
I see nothing more on this terrible planet
All I see are demons in the daylight
Sinners, killers and thieves
I want to stop them all
