Daydream Poem by Qwerty Poems

Daydream

I think I want to dream
For a dream one must sleep
In anguish not a possibility
So l settle for a begotten daydream
Lost in what I believed to be
Lost in sweet ignorance I dream

Letting go of the past that held me tight
A book taught me knowledge ever so right
I'm in denial, not free not happy
Can I forget what's in my sight

Led to want something no good for me.
Two things cant be,
One must compromise to serve the other being.
No evil, good, or bad
So play, my son, without a feeling to be had.
