Darkness Poem by valsala shan

In darkness this soul searches for light....
In the still heaviness of the black, foreboding whirlpool of thoughts...
It searches for beams of hope that flicker through with little might...
Darkness that invades this existence...

shrouded in pain.....slashed with anger...rippped apart with confusion...
this darkness is there for all to see..to mock....to sneer....to ridicule.
I am this fathomless, hole of despair waiting to be eclipsed....
by the warmth of a smile...a tender caress of compassion.....

Is there still hope.....for this seemless life of existence
