Darker Than My Soul, Your Love Is Poem by Leonard Dantzler

Darker Than My Soul, Your Love Is

Plucking stars from out of the sky
just to darken my world
No miles left to walk
I just stumble my way into Darkness
I stampede the minds of thought borrowers
believing they could write lines such as these
It comes w/such an ease
but the burden is my demon
can you imagine how heavily he breaths
Stealing the air away from me
I live only for his breeding
though your love is my darkest demon
But your darkness brings me joy in grand amounts
And my demon eats that Happiness
Leaving me empty and w/o
I dream to break free
I fantasize that I am here for Eternity
