Dark Love Poem by Aman Biswas

Dark Love

I seek Redemption
From what once seemed like salvation
Stuck in an eternity
Foreground of hell standing before him
As I embarked into my fruitless journey
I stand before him
Asking him what must i do
To remove my memories
From what was once true
Leaving life, letting go is what he said
As i made a vow to the devil
To go through the suffering he bestowed
Letting go of life to move on in a path someone else chose
Just letting go and letting someone else control

I couldn't hurt, i tripped
I couldn't kill, i fell
I couldn't go through and my soul
Destroyed, dissipated
Slowly in dusk as the sun rose from underneath me
Killing me with pleasure, as he saw fit
