Dark Little Room Poem by Joanna Maria Lozano

Dark Little Room

I've gone a long way from many years ago
The time when there was me and you
Time heals all wounds they say
But I wonder how long it will be

Dear, until now you're not forgotten
Truth be told, it's you I'm missing
All those moments we shared back then
I wish to relive time and again

And when I miss you that bad
I couldn't stop but reminisce what we had
I'd stay in this dark little room
Curled up in a corner in gloom

The night we first met, awkward but abliss
The way you held my hand until I said "yes"
The way looked at me with that kiss
All are in this room, kept for years

The times you locked me in a tight embrace
The moment we went beyond boundaries
Even the time we went on our separate ways
Everything's here tied together as memories
