Daring Emotions
There is,
A kind of sensual pleasure
In writing poetry,
Involving secret treasures
Of deep intimacy,
Expressing to all measure,
The Soul's affinity
With feelings that reach pleasure,
And invade you secretly
In this creative wager
Where Emotions felt are free,
But posses you totally.
Yes, it really is almost sensual. And I like creative eager - you really put yourself at risk, not knowing the outcome or response.
