Dare I Say Poem by Andrea Lopez

Dare I Say

Dare I say
That I can
I never imagined this day
Nor spill the blood of a man

For I acted upon a bewitch tongue of a demon
But say the verity of an angel
Yet I have no freedom
As a little child stuck in their cradle
Just walking on this line
This is not my fault
For waiting of a sign
Of insult
Echoes of cries
Laughter of pain
Buried deep of thin lies
Wrapped in iron chains
That was left in the crime
Is unspoken
Such as a rhyme
That can't be broken
Nothing but loss
And longing
No matter of the cost
There's nowhere to be belonging
