Dandelions For Dan



I want to, need to,
please
will you return,
a weekend pass
cannot be put aside
by careless staff
and you are good
for endless days
until the pipeline flows.
I, meanwhile
wait
and want
and need
and even pray.
I shall have dandelions
on my nightstand
just for you.
