Dancing Words Poem by EC David

Dancing Words

Rating: 5.0

Your tongue, the piercing end of a clear sign you want me to let you in. I do. Your hands, the controlling devices used to place me where you want me. I let you.

Did I fill you up with everything you need? Did I satisfy your hunger? Have I made the song in your head become overplayed?

Your legs, Wrapped around constricting like a snake to its prey before it devours. I can’t move. Your words, the very poison that runs through you in to me disabling any chance at clear thought or good judgment. I’m yours.

Did I fill you up with everything you want? Did I satisfy your desire? Have I made the movie in your head stop playing on repeat?

This space, the emptiness between what is and what could be. Echoing up the walls of an endless chamber. My head. This time, I found myself in question as your lullaby continues to haunt my every thought.

Did you feel me up with everything I need? Did you satisfy my hunger? Have you made the song in my head become overplayed?
