In graceful ambience of rain
I sat in my car, eyes strained
On sari-clad rain swaying
Under streetlights, dancing
Splatter of rain on my windscreen
Winter cold wind, gently whistling
Set me into my poetic mood
Enthralled, inspired, a poem I wrote
