Dancers Poem by Flavia Karina Ernst

Dancers

Everybody dances when they feel the beat

But not everybody's ready to really feel it,

Only true dancers could ever own the night,

Only true dancers could ever do it right.

They run the world with their feet

Every time craving for another beat.

They take every step like there's a dance floor

They dance, dance like angels for sure.

Music is what moves them, drives them

Their crazy energy, la creme de la creme.

Who doesn't love our dancers? They're awesome!

We only watch them and we blossom.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a poem about a dance group from my city and it's dedicated to them. Maybe it seems a little bit childish, but it was my inspiration at that time.
