Daisy Poem by Julian Takali

Daisy

Daisy, oh Daisy...what you do to a man of my taste
Daisy, oh Daisy...how you know to use those eyes to captivate

Along the edges of the lacquered wood run your sleek fingers
Whispering to each other secrets of you and I
They, in the cabaret of our jazzy mist
Groove and chafe the rhythms skirt

Daisy, oh Daisy...what you do to a man of my taste
Daisy, oh Daisy...how you know to use those eyes to captivate

Carooning tender tones are the locks of your hair
Layed back nice and relaxed in the cool night air
Flirting with the moon are your generous eyes
Telling tall tales to the craters but to I only lies

Daisy, oh Daisy...what you do to a man of my taste
Daisy, oh Daisy...how you know to use those eyes to captivate

Now we've sadly come to the end of our ride
On this somber night, my sulky life hasnt ever felt more alive
Since the first time she stepped in my car
But now shes a silky leg out as we've arrived

Daisy, oh Daisy, wont you be mine...is the thought that keeps me up at night!
