daddy you said you loved me
you said you cared
you made me want to commit suicid
and hide my tears
daddy you also made me cry

you make me sigh
you also got high
i just want to fly
but all this is to much i under stand
how can a little girl want so much
daddy i never wanted you to die
i just want to be with you
but also can do is remeber that night

evey were i go i see a father
and i sit and wonder why
i dont have one
i kno the painful answer is he died
why shhould i fall under so much misery
my father who had drank his life way
he left his babby girl be hind
with this answer why
was it his time to die
