D.E.P.R.E.S.S.I.O.N. Poem by Amelia Patterson

D.E.P.R.E.S.S.I.O.N.

Delving into
Emotions that
Persistently try to
Repress
Excitement's
Show and
Sadness
Is
Only
Numbing

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is how I feel being depressed; it makes me care less about others and/or being happy. A struggle...that for some reason makes me look internally despite how little I care.
