Cycles Poem by Ronald Speight

Cycles

My mind is ablaze as I watch aware of my surroundings
Knowing I’ve been before and will return
Same time same reason
Most would call these cycles as if it was special
But it’s all the same over and over
I love you, or maybe not, but then again
Everyday the same story wake up
To go to bed at night
Rain falls only to fall again
Jesus died only to live again
Ok maybe the last one wasn’t bad
But repetition is hell its why we live on earth
We haven’t proven worthy to break the cycle
