You’re the cutest thing that I ever did see
But you noticed everyone but me
You didn’t think that you’re best friend could be the one
I’m the one that cleans up your messes after you’re done
I just don’t want my love to go to waste
Because we have different taste
I thought that maybe you could love me
But you obviously didn’t see
The way I looked into your eyes
And finally I figured you were like all the other guys
Then another guy came along
And he, not you, helped me stand strong
