Cupid's Play Poem by Naga Bhanu Vemuri

Cupid's Play

On a pleasant evening,
Cupid was feeling bored.
And thought to see a play.
He aimed his arrow at me,
Unaware of changes.
With thoughts full of luster,
My mind filled with happiness.
Heart overwhelming with joy,
With a kind of love bubbling inside me,
An aroma filled the surroundings.
Nights were welcomed with dreams,
Leaving my brain searching for someone.
Suddenly, my eyes landed on him.
He shared the same feelings as mine.
We both felt a connection for each other,
Attraction pulled us together,
And so we decided that we are made for each other.
Cupid was successful in his aim,
And is still enjoying the play,
And always will,
As our love is eternal.
