So we walked on in the rain
All through the pain
Throwin our lives away all the while
In the end I found my friend
Taught me that dying was going out of style

I watched the world get torn apart
And it wasn't right
But I ran on with my manic grin
Screaming into the night

How could I throw away everything I learned
Face this sadness with a smile
I guess sometimes you just gotta let go
Posterity is goin out of style
