Crest Fallen Yet Again Poem by Nima Tharchen

Crest Fallen Yet Again

Crest fallen yet Again Nima Tharchen
I must confess I did want you
I wanted you to myself
I was hoping you would feel the same way too
But you did not
My heart shot at close range by a gun shot
Mundane became the days after that
Everything seems to be a bore
After a month and more
I am more rational like a shore
I am calm and still
I realize that relations do not work with me
When in love I am hasty
Love is not my strongest suite
Had she said yes and accept my love
Sour would have been the fruit
I think to my self how fortunate that she declined
I cannot take the chance of hurting you
Even if it means to stop loving you
With a heavy but glad heart I would do…..
