Creeping Roses Poem by reina Lorenzo

Creeping Roses

Rating: 5.0

4/25/05

I waited for my time to come
And still waiting
Waiting for someone to laugh with
But it seems, I’m invisible.

Come to me now, I wanna get out
I waited all my life, still I’m waiting
Just like one of these girls
Creeping like roses in the sand
Where nothing was there to embrace ‘em
But thorns.

I waited without moving
Hoping that someone will widen this smile
It’s stupid and cheap
But it’s better than never.

Rob me now, I wanna get out
Don’t want to be one of these girls (no more)
Creeping like roses in the sand
Where nothing was there to embrace ‘em
But, just stupid thorns.
