Crab Like Friend Poem by Kyle Williams

Crab Like Friend

Crab like friend...
purple with neon splendor,
crawl up my hirsute arm
and tickle my goose flesh.
How you warm my troubled eyes.
May I place you around a mermaid's neck,
would that charm the nymph
to live on land with me?
Ha, I would not give you up either way.

You will live in my hair
instead of the shallow sea
and form a nest if you wish
my crab like friend.
