Cowards Exit Poem by krissi b'williams

i have never felt so alone
i have never felt so betrayed
as you walked out
while the battle was still about
in our home...........
i never liked the word
hate...now its too late
besides the hurt
its the other word that comes to mind
when i recall your face....such a disgrace
leaving a foul and bitter taste

standing there proud and tall
, heart surrounded by a wall
a look of ice, a look that froze
my insides, my core, from head to toes
you started this fight
and with a quick exit, left in a cowards flight
with a look of my own disgust, i squashed you, with disgust
that i had believed
bound my love and lust
lord i was deceived.............

betrayed again...betrayed anew
from a piece of shyt
in the name of you
with a broken heart, my chest now caved
as once more, you betrayed
me...like a sworn enemy
if you, felt as though
i was wrong, why not just say so? ? ? ?
instead of defending her, not defending me

then with an cowards exit
you quickly made
your leave
leaving me betrayed

think i shall 4give you
think i will 4give you this
putting me through
all the drama's shyt
leaving me there...without one care
leaving me while it hit the fan
i say so sarcastically, your such a man
leaving me all but dumbfounded, as i stood there surrounde3d
when you turned...so disconcerned
to leave...i let myself breathe
through your betrayal, and all the deceive
your the fool it isnt me
