Covidiots Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Covidiots

Rating: 3.0

All his life a loner
Then social butterfly
They were not all his friends
Some were complete strangers
Totally self-centered
Self-absorbed so selfish
So sunny that spring day
Lively conversations
Jokes aplenty laughter
Children playing alive
None wore masks to save lives
Solely superficial
None wore gloves just baseball
They shared good food and drink
Drank from chalice of life
They are all so damn dead now

He was granted one more life
