You may feel like giving up on courage
For it seems there's no hope of victory.
Though the real story of human existence
Is the love of our Lord throughout history.

True bravery's shown by performing
Without witness what one might be
Capable of before the world
Without any or all to see.

The more we support the needs of others
The better we sleep, love, learn and live.
Life has always had its times of tests
To expose who to follow, fear or forgive.

All heaven's heroes of history
Wore holes in the knees of their pants.
For without God's grace and human prayer
Our survival on Earth is by chance!
