Corgi Duck Garganey Poem by Philo Yan

Corgi Duck Garganey

My mother was a Corgi duck herder
And my father was a wild Garganey
They fell in love and mated
Their destinies were fated

Born and bred in Santragachi
the urban wetlands of Kolkata
I love my roti prata
I love my dried fruit acar!

My parent carefully hid me
For fear I would be found
They keep me safely out of sight
They keep me safe and sound.

If anyone were to find me
I'll make them a lot of money
There's no one else like me
I'm a Corgi Duck Garganey!
