Cooking Good

Rating: 2.8

Grit’s
Grits egg
Juice
Grandmothers
Cooking
She done
Pray about love
For Gods words
Is in the recipe
Cook up grandmothers
Love
She done seen
More cooking
In cooking
Then others
Pie’s baking cakes in the making
Grandmother just adding
Love
Even mother
Gets a slice
Still grandmother’s sweet songs
Always making it’s better
In secret ways hugging me
After church
Hearing the preacher
Saying God is good
Now let’s us eat
Collard greens
Corn bread
Good smelling meat
Grandmother let the cook be forever blessed
Now
Grandmother, ‘lets Bless This meal”
