'Control Is Just A Myth' Poem by Linda Winchell

Control is a human arrogance, and myth
not allowing one to live in the moment of their day.
Always living in tomorrow and planning
not savoring daily blessings, in a blessed way.

The Raven does not store, nor does it want.
The Lilies of the field neither toil nor spin.
Yet God let's each day be a blessing, of that day they're in.

Do plan for your tomorrows
but live and enjoy the one you're in.
Control is just a myth, and arrogance be the sin.
