Contemplating Peace Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Contemplating Peace

Rating: 5.0

Heaven sent a message
To Almighty one day
For that special moment
Peace was observed on earth

God did not speak
He just observed
Such worldly leaders
Contemplating peace

This unique notion of peace
Foreign to the damn tyrants
Their whole being shivering
Uncontrollable cold sweat

God remained silent and solemn
Watching from such a safe distance
The tyrants growing so restless
Paralyzed with such damn fear
Now wage war on God and Heaven

Satan rising from hibernation
Smiling and amused by this fun game

Satan did not speak
He simply observed
Such worldly leaders
Contemplating peace

Tyrants will never know peace; power is all they understand.

Although I tend to agree with you, Carl, I'm an eternal optimist. The day will come when tyrants will know peace. Unfortunately, I don't think that it will happen in our lifetime.
