Consolation Poem by Morgan Michaels

Consolation

Dear,
There is a poem for every audience
And an audience for every poem-
This may not be yours-audience, that is,
Or it may-
Poets are jealous creatures
And justifiably-
Self-absorption is not the same as selfishness
You can make a good case for it.
On line, as in life
People rarely get what they deserve.
Just as Truth is relative.
This I'm telling you, so you know.
Trust me, I'm a lawyer.
