Waves on the beach, are touching my feet
It's dawn, sun is peeping through a cloudy sheet
Walking on the sand, my footsteps are following me
what is my purpose here, thoughts are crowding me
Am I to always give, hear and be patient
Or support, guide and be tolerant
I too need redemption, show mercy on me
Who am I to you, please don't ignore me
Reality is not always shocking, heart breaking or cruel
Give me a chance to explain, I promise
Understanding, not anxiety will win you this duel
I know you have to stand up and fight
Not against anybody else but your sense of fright
I will always be around when all hope leaves you
Cos I am your CONSCIOUS and I believe in you.
