You say you love me
But can’t be with me forever.
The reason you gave was lame
Which no one except you understands.

You say you have prior commitments
Which forces you to go away from me
But your love is strong and true for me
And that you will love me forever

You say I will get over you and your love
And that I will find someone to confide in
Someone who will love me
Someone who will want to be with me forever

You say time is the best healer
Time will make me forget the love
And all my pain will go away
Without leaving a mark or a scar

But…

I say you have never loved me enough
Because you abandoned me
Without a bye
Never to come back

I say your love is not strong and true
Because it could not hold us together
How can a commitment break a love so strong?
Did u really love me?

I say love is not a joke or a game
That you forget it if its no more there
And move on
For another man

I say time is the best healer
But how can time heal my pain?
Because after you
Time has stopped and is still

Now you tell me baby…
How can I trust again when you have broken it completely?
How can I laugh again when all you have left me are tears?
How can I try again when you have left no reason for it?
How can I love again when all I m left with is hatred?
How can I live again if you are my life?
