Come What May Poem by An Angel Without Wings

Come What May

Come what may the seasons change
Even though the world may be deranged
We all flit from house to work to house again
The monotonous, prosaic routine in easy to maintain
The sense of time stays unchanged

The turning of the clocks has all been prearranged
“Fall back” our time now seems shortchanged
The sun now dips below the horizon and night now reigns
Come what may

From coast to coast time is arranged
For years and years it has gone unchanged
Lying in bed for hours; thoughts and dreams driving me insane
Oh how I wish I had something to gain
No matter what time and I will be estranged
Come what may
