come to me and be my morning sunshine
i slipped on a mossy stone
and fell upon
a deep river
and i almost drowned
and i am wet
and i am shivering
and i am alone
that night, that cold damp night
when i almost died

without you
and so i wish that you will come to me and be my sun
that you may spread your arms like sunshine
that i may live
that i may still profess my love

though unloved, betrayed, and so foolish
