Coco Days – Part 2 – A Chocolate Bunny Scurries Yonder - Acrostic

At seventy upon seventy times

Challenges that shake ones core
Honesty in the face of decision
Openness to change and trust
Calmly panicking at the thought
Opening my eyes still scares me
Lately its roar seems less threatening
Albeit louder and more imminent
That beast is going to die
Execution martyr style

Bitter chocolate I have savored not
Understanding that it was only
Nessasary to taste and spit
Never swallowing through the day
Yes tasting not consuming

Strengthening and molding
Chocolate burning white hot
Under that all that pretty foil
Refined, pure and clear
Remnants of that kilning
Is binding this bunny together
Elementary baking principles
Seared into my heart

Yesterday forged strength within
Only the kind by knowing Him
Now echoing from their room
Dear little voices laughing
Evocation to eat more chocolate
Remembering Coco days no more
