Closeness Poem by Kong Yin

Closeness

“Lord, ” we lament,
“Why should I want to be close to you?
Look, the stars closest to a black hole
are the first to be devoured! ”

He replied, “You only see the stars
engulfed on this side;
guess who catches them on the other side.”
