Clearwater Beach Poem by Matthew Zeller

Clearwater Beach

Rating: 4.5

I kept your sunglasses when you left,
stole them from your pocket purse
as you packed three years in a bag.
Hard to believe something so full
could fit into something so small like that.

They remind me of walks on Clearwater Beach
and gorgeous sunsets
meeting their match in you.
Hard to believe something so radiant
could disappear in a matter of minutes like that.
