Cleansing Poem by Ray Andrews

Cleansing

Rating: 5.0

Grains of sand crunch beneath
My feet as the ocean loudly
And endlessly reminds me
Of nature's washing and cleansing

As I move along the beach
The briny mists and crashing sounds
Clear my cobwebs of anger
And drown the spiders of fear

With a good walk on
A clear day, the few vermin
Of hate are scrubbed from
My soul, and I am content

I love salt in my wounds
