Clay Poem by Cleo Blue

Clay

Can i be my own person
With my own personality
Can i be my own soul
With my own destiny

You can't just mold
my heart out of clay
Even though im ice cold
I cant help but bend to every word you say

Im on a pottery wheel
With every detail you make
Just leave me alone
for Artemis' sake

My heart was ice cold
When you put it into the mold
Of how to be right
Just let me be myself tonight
