Our nation belongs to us
we belong to our nation;
our rights are guaranteed by our Constitution,
the same rights belong equally to all the people of our nation.

Our Constitution belongs to our people
our freedom to speak and express,
to hear, to see, to read and to write belongs to us,
the same freedom belongs equally to all the people of our nation.

Our Right to life, to our faith, to our religion
has always been upheld by our Constitution,
these same rights belong to our people equally;
our nation belongs to us
we belong to our nation.

Our nation has always upheld our rights
irrespective of our color, cast, creed or religion,
the liberties belong to our people,
our Constitutional rights belong to us equally;
our nation belongs to us
we belong to our nation.

Our chains of unity are so unbreakable
that united we stand in safeguarding
our boundaries, our religious freedom,
our traditions, our culture, our heritage
as our nation belongs to us
and we belong to our nation.

Our nation always upholds ourdignity,
our nation gives us justice when we ask for it,
today when we stand up for a cause of justice
why will our nation not hear our prayer?

Every citizen is an equal and belongs to this nation;
we have lived here for centuries
with dedication and sacrifices
which makes us inheritors of our nation,
our nation belongs to us
we belong to our nation.

Our generations past and future
will belong to our nation.
The tricolor flag belongs to us
our languages belong to us
ours is a nation that speaks many languages
solidarity and unity holds us together
our patriotism is stronger than a diamond.

Ours is a nation that extends
from north to south
and from west to east,
though we are millions in number
together we stand and sing our National Anthem
together we salute our National Flag.
Today our nation has to hear our voices
as our nation belongs to us,
we belong to our nation called India.

Sovereign, socialistic, secular
and a democratic republic is our nation;
our Preamble guarantees our fraternity
our Preamble upholds our liberty.
we belong to India in equality and justice
justice and equality in India belongs to us.

Our nation is our mother,
a mother always hears her child's cry
our nation must hear our plea
and quell the unrest we feel
O' our mother nation, wake up
and give us justice if justice is thy intention...
