Cigarettes And You Poem by Genevieve Surrender

Cigarettes And You

Rating: 5.0

You've told me to stop smoking
but that was back
when you cared.

I should have listened
because you were right

but I didn't realize then
that it wasn't
just me
you were after.

Hmmmmm smoking is bad for you, as are men that don't stay true. Nice work Erica, glad I found this. Smiling at you, Tai

Thank you Erica, because this is so true too. We never seem to listen until the 'habit' has us in its pull. Thank you for sharing. Barbara
