Chrysalis Poem by Albert Price

Chrysalis

Over the winding road of human life,
Few are the challenges and tests
To equal the aging process' strife,
That confine folks to timeless duress.

The metamorphosis of the butterflies
Is a display of struggle and pain;
But how delightful a revelation to arise
Is the revived mortal strength again.

Aging may confine us in an imago
And a virtual chrysalis of coldness.
But we will arise with bravado
And a pulsating divine boldness.

For those with the determination,
Awaits a crescendo of divine pleasure.
The ecstasy of rebirth's inception
Is a resurgence beyond measure.
