Christmas Morn Poem by Dave Dullum

Christmas Morn

Rating: 3.0

I looked up in the sky on Christmas morn and saw a star, when I remembered that today was the day that Christ was born.

On that eventful day so many years ago a man child was born, the Son of God and the Savior of man.

On that morn God gave us a star to help the three wise men to find Him and where He lay.

So it is today as it was back then when we see the star, we shall see the Son of God and the Savior of man.

The bible suggests Jesus was born in September if you take the timing of John the Baptist's birth. Also, in Palestine, you don't get shepherds in fields in December it's just too cold. Poor Julius set the 25 December date in 4AD
