In a split second
I awaken in a new world
My desire fulfilled
My hunger achieved
Now I am alive
I feel powerful
with this gift from
the blood
Now I must feed
To sustain my sanity
Forgetting the life I left
a minute ago
And to begin what I now am
Don't be afraid
I won't hurt you
Unless you want me to
Because your blood
is what drives me
Keeps me alive
And hides me from the light
So I can live in the night
