Chaos Bound Poem by julie kops

Chaos Bound

They wait there still in quiet calm
for the moment is almost here
Their fate now is forever bound
The warriors show no fear

The memory of the wizards curse
That bound them both to chaos
What they once perceived as their doom
will become their masters greatest loss

For centuries they've laid in wait
Lost amongst the mists of time
For a chance to find the final key
To the ancients oldest rhyme

Out of chaos bound, it says
Will rise the hand of destiny
Two of the last of their kind
Shall bring the wizard to his knees

It seemed like forever and a day
That she'd heard his guttural song
And finally an epiphany
Their redemption with them all along

For when she matched the frequency
Of the song her own heart sang
To the majestic soul beside her
Their power fell like rain

There is no spell or warding
That can save the warlocks heart
He cannot stand against the power
Pure souls in harmony can impart

Soon he will finally find them there
And know true evils fate
For in their bond lies their freedom
Their courage will not hesitate

No darkness can ever truly stand
Amidst the light of love's true form
And they will have found their way to light
Together against the storm-JK
