I had erased love from my mind
Because of a certain man who treated me unkind
But God had purpose in mind for me
to send me a better man than he
this man healed the pain
when I thought I will never love again.

My ship of love is back home to dock
I had sealed off my port with a rock
Anyone who had come knocking may have gotten block
But God help me realize there is a good sheep among the flock
And indeed my heart of pain he did unlock.
