Celtic Woman Poem by Christan Bowen

Celtic Woman

with anticipation do I watch these women
and I knew
from the beginning
that I was smitten
and fairly so
but these women
I did not know

they appeared one fateful night
to sing and play
with all their mights
orla, mareied, mauve and chloe
might I say
I love you so

and lisa and haley
so devine
that ive never knew
this heart of mine
you are different
from a land
I wouldn't claim
I understand

but poverty robbed me
of my chance to go
to see the girls
mareid and chloe
just like bands
so often do
they went and got
girls a few
who want to start
a journey new

so my dream
the dream for me
now resides
on dvd
but that is life
and how it happens
with feet a stompin'
and hands a clappin'
I will watch
like I always might
celtic women
on this late night
