Caught In The Mad Trance Poem by Danny Ballan

Caught In The Mad Trance

Stop or get caught in the mad trance;
For none in there really understands
What they stand for and what they do;
For mostly in every chaos found in you,
There is a long line of questions waiting-
Lying in a core rooted in oblivion.

For a child’s laugh in your eyes;
For the once clear bright skies;
For once beautiful the sea was blue;
For a man a child found in you,
Search and seek out and remember-
This is the only truth you’ve got.

You wore the robes of this world
And forgot the colors of your own skin;
Your burning hot blood turned so cold
And the mist covered you from within;
For a chance you let go by, you think
Where you went, there’s no return.

Wake up and smile for time is all what you got,
And you can recall what you came here for;
If it is only one chance, it is worth the shot-
To aim right for once and you finally score;
For once you know a difference you have made-
Only then can you pass peacefully to death.
